Everything people ask us most — shipping, the Friday drops, the guarantee, and how a one-of-one nursery works.
Orders ship Monday–Wednesday so nothing sits in a carrier depot over a weekend. Most orders leave within a week; large specimens can take longer to prepare and crate. Shipping policy →
Plants ship secured in their pots or carefully bare-rooted depending on species and season, braced so the soil line and crown can't shift. Large specimens are crated, and every shipment is covered by the live-arrival guarantee. Shipping policy →
We watch destination forecasts and add heat packs in winter, or hold shipments through extreme weather windows. If conditions look risky we may suggest delaying a week — the plant's trip matters more than the calendar. Live-arrival guarantee →

Yes. Specimens are one-of-one — the photo on each listing is the exact plant you receive, not a representative example.
Every shipment carries our live-arrival guarantee: your plant arrives alive and in the condition shown in its photographs. If it arrives in distress, email photos within 48 hours of delivery and we'll make it right — a replacement where stock allows, or a refund. Live-arrival guarantee →
Plant sales are final once a healthy plant is delivered, because a return trip is the riskiest thing a plant can take. Arrival problems are covered by the live-arrival guarantee. Hard goods — pots, books, growing media, tools — can come back unused within 30 days for a refund, minus return shipping. Returns policy →
If we shipped the wrong specimen, we cover everything — return label, replacement, the lot. Just tell us. Returns policy →
New specimens land every Friday — hand-selected off the benches and added to the catalog. There's no set count and no set hour; the bench decides. See the drops →
No — specimens are one-of-one, so the exact plant pictured sells once. The genus often returns in a later drop, but each release is its own plant. See the drops →
