A variegated Euphorbia obesa hybrid in a 3.5-inch pot — the rarest variegation pattern in the obesa lineage, where pale sectors thread through the body without compromising vigor. Smaller pups may break off in shipping; this is normal for the form and they often root readily.

- Bright filtered light, slightly less than for green obesa. The variegated tissue burns more easily and the white sectors lack chlorophyll, so the plant overall is more sun-shy.
- Water
- Sparse but consistent. Variegated plants run on slimmer photosynthetic margins; overwatering combined with their slower metabolism rots them faster than green stock.
- Soil
- Pure mineral mix favoring pumice and decomposed granite. A small terracotta pot with excellent drainage is the safest format for this material.
- Dormancy
- Mild winter slowdown. The plant does not fully dormant but cuts metabolic rate sharply below 60°F; reduce watering accordingly.
- Hardiness
- USDA 10b–11 (50°F floor; variegated Euphorbias are less cold-tolerant than their green counterparts, add a margin).
- Feeding
- Quarter strength balanced fertilizer monthly during active growth. Heavy feeding can blur variegation patterns and produce reverted, pure-green pups.
